For three days in May, students from San Sisto and around the world took part in the Education Perfect Social Science Competition and also the Education Perfect World Championships for Languages. These students were acknowledged at our recent College assembly for their efforts.
In the Social Sciences Championships, students around the world answered 2, 947, 606 questions across Geography, History and Social Sciences.
Students from San Sisto contributed to Queensland being the top performing state in Australia, with over 308 thousand points being awarded, and San Sisto College achieving a position of 55th overall globally out of 893 schools.
31 students received Championship awards ranging from;
There were fifty students receiving awards for the Languages Championships. We would like to make particular mention of Renee Lees who achieved an ‘Elite Award’ by answering over 26,000 questions and achieving over 10,000 points.
