If your daughter is absent from school and you have not rung the Absentee Line (3900 9888) before 9.00 am or no previous written advice has been received, a text message will be sent to your mobile phone advising you of the need to contact the College to clarify your daughter's absence.
All absences from school must be explained by either a telephone call from a parent or carer to the College or a message left on the absentee line. For extended periods, please provide a note. Late arrivals and early departures must be accompanied by a note.
As our system relies on searching the student's family contacts for the first mobile phone number, it is important to have student details correct. Family details for current students can be updated on the Parent Portal via the Community Access tab on our website.
If a student has an accident or falls ill at the College, appropriate first aid will be given by staff where possible. This assistance may include, where necessary, emergency ambulance transport to a hospital. During a normal school day, students may go to the Sick Bay which is located in the Student Reception area, when feeling unwell. If a student continues to feel unwell then parents and carers may be notified to come and collect their daughter.
