This paper was published in the Australian Journal of Middle School (Volume 23, 22 June, 2022). The article highlighted the benefits of providing time for students to engage with and receive specific instruction on inquiry and reasoning skills. The research is based on data gathered from San Sisto students and teachers in 2021. The work San Sisto is undertaking in developing critical thinking is endorsed by the University of Queensland's Aspiring Thinkers project and is the basis of an ongoing collaborative project between the University and San Sisto College.
