Founded by the Dominican Sisters in 1961, San Sisto College continues to celebrate and value its Dominican heritage. Today, one of the most significant expressions of this heritage is our close connection with St Martin’s Primary School, our neighbouring Dominican school community.
Each year, students and staff from both schools come together to celebrate Dominican Family Day, held close to the Feast of St Dominic. This special occasion honours our shared history, values and traditions, while strengthening the sense of belonging that connects us as members of the wider Dominican family.
Through shared celebrations, faith experiences and community partnerships, students gain a deeper appreciation of the rich heritage that continues to shape life at San Sisto College today.
