At San Sisto College, we believe students thrive when they feel known, supported, and connected. We recognise that wellbeing and learning are deeply linked, and we are committed to creating an environment where every young woman can flourish academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Grounded in our Catholic identity, we care for the whole person. We work in partnership with students and families to ensure each young woman feels safe, valued, and empowered to achieve her personal best.

A Culture of Care and Respect
Student wellbeing is at the heart of everyday life at San Sisto. Through strong relationships, clear expectations, and a proactive approach to support, we foster a culture where students feel a genuine sense of belonging and are encouraged to grow in confidence, resilience, and self-awareness.
Our approach to behaviour support is informed by the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework, which promotes positive relationships, respectful interactions, and restorative practices that strengthen our community.
Supporting Every Student
A network of dedicated staff works together to support each student's wellbeing and success.
Home Room Teachers
Home Room Teachers provide daily connection and care, building positive relationships with students and serving as the first point of contact for families.
Student Wellbeing Leaders
Our Student Wellbeing Leaders work closely with students and families to provide personalised support, guidance, and care throughout each stage of a student's journey.
Guidance Counsellors
Our qualified Guidance Counsellors offer professional support for students experiencing personal, social, emotional, or academic challenges and work closely with families and staff when additional support is needed.
Wellbeing Programs
Throughout the year, students participate in age-appropriate wellbeing programs, workshops, and guest presentations that address topics relevant to adolescent development, relationships, digital wellbeing, resilience, and personal growth.
Personal Development Education
Students in Years 9 and 10 engage in dedicated Personal Development lessons that explore topics such as respectful relationships, online safety, positive psychology, self-awareness, and becoming active and responsible members of the community.
Partnering with Families
We know that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to student wellbeing. If a student or family is experiencing challenges, our wellbeing team is available to provide support and work collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcomes.

The WELL
The WELL is San Sisto College's dedicated wellbeing hub and a welcoming space where students can connect with members of their support team.
Inspired by the biblical story of the well as a place of nourishment, connection, and renewal, The WELL provides students with access to guidance, support, and opportunities to build a strong sense of belonging within the College community. Throughout the year, it also hosts activities and initiatives designed to strengthen relationships, promote wellbeing, and foster connection among students.
