Nine of our eleven aerobics teams have qualified for the 2026 FISAF National Championships next month and have their sights on gold. At the recent State Championships, our students demonstrated outstanding skill, artistry and dedication winning three gold, two silver and two bronze medals. This continues a proud tradition of medal-winning performances since aerobics was introduced in 2012.
Head Aerobics Coach and past pupil Brittany Davey, her coaching team and our Sports Department head, Lauren Giovenco, are the driving forces behind our continued success.
Brittany has been involved in the program for 15 years. She competed at San Sisto’s first aerobics competition in 2012, where her team won gold at the State Championships. After graduating in 2014, Brittany returned as a coach and became Head Coach in 2017. Brittany possesses qualities that inspire our students; a contagious positive outlook on life, loves seeing our students strive and encourages them to be the best they can be. She gains students’ trust by demonstrating honesty, teaches students resilience by encouraging them to bounce back and keep going if they have setbacks, and shows success is possible with perseverance.
We thank Brittany and all our coaches for your hard work and dedication including Faith Wild who introduced aerobics to San Sisto in 2012 and laid the foundation for today’s successful program. Brittany, the coaching team, and San Sisto’s sports department have continued to nurture Faith’s legacy and helped the program flourish.
