Congratulations to Year 7's Isla B, who recently competed at the 2026 UCI BMX Racing World Championships at the Sleeman Sports Complex in Brisbane, a venue that will also be used for the 2032 Olympic Games. Isla placed an incredibly impressive 39th!
The event brought together 2,129 Challenge and Masters riders from 41 nations, with competitors ranging from just eight years old through to 70. Australia fielded the largest team, with 969 riders on the start list, alongside strong representation from countries including the United States, Colombia, France, Argentina, Canada, New Zealand and Great Britain.
What an incredible achievement for Isla to compete on the world stage and represent herself so proudly among such an outstanding international field. Go Isla!
